Works through your dictation app

LOUDMOUTH + Codex CLI

Codex CLI reads whatever's typed into its prompt, same as any terminal app. The pedal lives in your dictation app's settings, not here — once that's mapped to F13, it works in Codex CLI without Codex CLI knowing Loudmouth exists.

  1. Set up Loudmouth with your dictation app of choice (see its own works-with page).
  2. Focus the terminal running Codex CLI.
  3. Stomp the pedal and say your prompt.
  4. Release, review the transcription, and send it.
